Close on the heels of the recent festive season that marginally boosted the real estate sector of Nashik, the change of guard at the center assuring stability is set to give it a fillip. Adding to the cheer is an expectation of better infrastructure in the city with the Simhastha Kumbhmela slated for 2015.
According to experts, around 1,000 to 1,200 residential properties worth around Rs.300 Crore have been sold during the festive period this year. The Developers in Nashik are expecting good realty business during the upcoming 3 day realty expo “CREDAI Nashik Property Show 2014″ beginning May 23, on the sprawling ground of Dongre Vastigruha along Gangapur Road.
The gap between demand & supply has increased a lot in the city in the past 2 years. Around 5,000 ready flats are lying unsold across the city & no new project is being launched, according to sources. The scenario is set to change for better sooner or later.
Over the last few years, the demand for residential flats has shot up in the city. Earlier, it was around 5000 flats a year & today its 8000 flats a year. Recently, Nashik Muncipal Corporation Officers has shown an inclination of having “Green Roads” in the city, which means that on the both sides of the road would have trees planted to maintain ecology. Also the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar highway is being transformed into the first of its kind “Green Highway”. This highway boasts of a special walking lane for the Warkaris taking their Palkhis to Trimbak. Also this lane would be highly useful for smooth traffic flow during the Simhastha Kumbhmela.
